The Timed Event Controller is a high quality home automation timer device that is capable of transmitting and receiving digital commands and status over the existing powerlines at preset times. Designed in a small plug-in enclosure, it will transmit standard UPB commands at specified times of the day. The TEC can be programmed to control single lights, trigger dramatic scenes, or send messages to a central controller. The TEC stores up to 20 individual timed events. Each event can be configured to occur, daily, during the work week, on weekends, on specific days of the week or on a specific day of the year. Event times can be specified as absolute times or relative to sunrise or sunset times (based on your geographic location). A Security Mode is available to randomly vary the event time each day within a user specified time window giving your home a lived in look.
