Works fine. Sensor must be aligned correctly.

The sensor works just fine, but the sensor must be mounted correctly.

The sensor box (which is mounted on the door frame) must be aligned properly with the magnet box (which is mounted on the door). The actual sensor is located inside the sensor box near one edge of the box. That edge of the sensor box has a gray mark on it and needs to be within an inch or so of the magnet. If the wrong edge of the sensor box is nearer the magnet box, the actual sensor will be too far away to sense the magnet when the door is closed.
DO NOT PURCHASE

The magnet has to basically be touching the sensor to work. Very limited in application because it only works in perfect situations where it can only leave a fraction of space beteween the two if any. Reciever gives false alarms all the time as well. Do not buy...
Doesn't work with new system

Beware, this product does not work with the SC-1000 systems. I'm not sure about other systems, but I bought it because it was cheaper than the WT-433, but it didn't work with my system.
